WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 is a scheduled professional wrestling video game currently under development by Yuke’s, which will be published by THQ for the PlayStation 2,PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360. The game is due to be released on October 20, 2009 in North America and October 23, 2009 in Europe.^[4][10][11] TOSEwill oversee development for the Nintendo DS version.^[12]

It will be the eleventh video game in the WWE SmackDown series, and is the sequel to its predecessor WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009. The video game will be based on theprofessional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and is named after two of the promotion’s three brands: Raw and SmackDown, and also features the promotion’s third brand ECW.

Create modes

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will feature a new and improved create mode. In addition to the original create-a-wrestler and create-an-entrance modes, the game will introduce the WWE Story Designer mode, an extension to the General Manager mode last seen in WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008. The player will now be able to design the script to one of the weekly shows (Raw, SmackDown, or ECW) with storylines, scenarios, and matches of their creations using a variety of preset options. Included in the designing options for scenarios are the words the superstars speak from the player’s created script, the text that appears as the subtitles, and the actions the superstar performs; however, there is a limit to the number of characters that can appear in a scenario. Similar to previous editions in the series, the player can create storylines; however, the player can now control how long the storylines goes on, how many superstars or divas are involved, and what takes place in the storylines. The match-making feature allows the player to set a match type, set a stipulation, and set any winning conditions. In addition to using created superstars, the player may also integrate actual WWE superstars and Divas into their created storylines, scenarios, or matches.^[13]

The create-a-wrestler feature has also been improved from WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 in the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions. The game will now feature three-dimensional apparel, unlike in previous games where it appeared as "painted on". The apparel will also move realistically, for example, a robe will move with each of the superstar’s movements. Another improvement to the create-a-wrestler mode is the loading time of the menus, which in the past presented lengthy waiting time for each menu to appear; however, developers at Yuke’s have improved the loading time of each menu.^[13][14] The layer system for the create-a-wrestler mode has been replace with a point system. In this system, each item is given a point value and the player is able to attach up to 48 points of items.^[15] The mode will also feature an additional Paint Tool in which the player can create their own design that they can use as to use as a logo or a tattoo for their created wrestler.^[14] In addition to create-a-wrestler, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 versions of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 will introduce a new mode called Superstar Threads, in which the player can create three alternate attires for existing wrestlers in the game by customizing the colors of their attire.^[12][13][14]

 

 

 

Estranged – Chocolate Syrup

Estranged was formed in the year 2001. It all started out when Rich and Din were students in the International College of Music (ICOM) wanting to play rock music, therefore, they gathered a bunch of guys who had similar interests, thus, Estranged is formed. The band started off with their first ever gig in TwelveSI and since then, the gigs kept on coming. Estranged particicipated in the Asian Beat Competition for year 2001 and finished as 2nd runners-up for the competition which is organized by Yamaha. The band’s biggest gig so far was in the year 2003 for the infamous event called Rock the World 4 (Malaysia’s most anticipated annual rock event). Since then, the band decided to cut an album independently.
The band’s gig list includes a few high profile shows such as the Asian X-Games (2004), a couple of times for AXN (2003 & 2005), a number of gigs with Musiccanteen.com, 8tv’s talk show Latte@8 and also a guest band for a Linkin Park contest organized by MTV and etc. The gig list goes on.
Finally, after endless effort and going thru all sorts of obstacles, the 11 track album is completed. The recording process took about 4 months (Oct — Dec 2004) to be completed. Thus, In Hating Memory is born. The debut album also includes 10 english tracks and 1 malay track. The first single Velocity started receiving airplay since June 2005 courtesy of Burn and Rizal of Xfresh FM and the Jakeman of Hitz FM.

Tidbits* – Rich is one of the contenders in the Malaysian reality talent show Akademi Fantasia (Season 4). Andy is a VJ in Hitz.tv and one of 3 drumming brothers with their own bands.
